I believe that a strong school system is a cornerstone of our community. I am proud of Menomonee Falls and want to see our schools continually improve. From early literacy programs to programs engaging high school students in ways that prepare them for college, technical school, or direct employment, our schools play a vital role in the lives of our children. Students who are prepared for the future will keep Menomonee Falls in a growth mode, driving opportunities, increasing property values, and attracting more great families and companies.
Students, parents and families, teachers, administrative staff, and the community as whole each have a role to play. Students have a responsibility to take responsibility for their own education. However, that is not a goal they can take on by themselves. Parents and families need to nurture students and provide an environment where learning is valued and reinforced. Teachers need to be creative and diligent in finding ways to reach their students and inspire them. Administrators and support staff must build schools where everyone is respected and valued, while setting objectives for success. The community is responsible for making wise investments in our schools and celebrating victories. The school board oversees the administration and ensures that that the schools are working to achieve our big goals. Together we can make Menomonee Falls schools and our community even better!
I have been very fortunate to have had supportive parents, great teachers, and talented administrators contribute to my academic success. I attended public & private schools in Texas through high school and graduated from LaPorte HS in 1992. My wife, Carrie, and our three kids, Sara, Grace and Luke, are all active in the community, with our church, sports, and community activities. Our kids are students at Menomonee Falls High School and have been in SDMF schools since kindergarten. We are proud to call Menomonee Falls home for more than 15 years. I am eager to listen to community voices and understand your concerns. Through my legal and business career, I have built expertise in analyzing challenges and working toward solutions while keeping big picture goals as a key focus.
I appreciate your support. Please let me know if you would like a lawn sign. If you have an idea you would like to share, please use the email or Facebook links on this site.
